Riverfest and Great Limerick Run May 2019

Limerick City was alive this May Bank Holiday with Riverfest and Great Limerick Run taking place around the City and County. The bright sunshine and buzzing streets made Limerick the destination to go to this weekend, as the people of Ireland descended on the City.

Howley’s Quay was the location for the BBQ on Saturday, with companies from across Limerick and Mid-West cooking up a storm for the hungry spectators, visitors and race goers prepping for their race. Congratulations to Carriage House Pirates (Adare Manor) the Overall Winners of the BBQ. Also Winners on the day were; Sexton’s Bar & Pizza and Southill Drama Group.

Sunday morning arrived and the marathon, half marathon and six mile distances were covered by the athletes through the streets of Limerick with up to 10,000 people that took part in the Regeneron Great Limerick Run.

KemmyStonecraft are delighted to be celebrating its 10th anniversary in partnership with Great Limerick Run providing the Winners Awards for each race category and in partnership with Riverfest providing the BBQ Winners Awards.
